Why is one of the search terms used to find my website…
“my boyfriend secretly looks up porn”
when
a) I don’t have a boyfriend (okay, I did have a boyfriend, but now he likes to be referred to as my husband if not by name)
b) when he was my boyfriend he didn’t look up porn, secretly or otherwise (unless it’s a secret, obviously)?
What could the person searching for such a thing actually find on my blog? Not a whole lot I’m guessing. Kind of like the people (yes, there have been multiple of them by now) searching for “how to have sex.” Sad.
Man….I know what you mean about search terms in your stats. Some I’ll never speak aloud as long as I live. I don’t know what these people found on my site, but I know it wasn’t what they were looking for.
And I hope they don’t find it. Or me!!!

The only weird one I’ve had so far is “thingies.” That’s a rather broad search term. I’m not sure if I’m envious or grateful that that’s the weirdest one I’ve had.

I’m really confused about how this whole thing works. Why do the search engines list our blogs for things that have no relevance?
I just discovered that someone found my blog by searching for “17 kohler oil filter #.” I have never once written about oil, or filters, or kohler. I just don’t get it.
